Diamond Life NBA — Breaking Toronto Injury Update
November 6, 2026 | Late-Swap Emergency Analysis | Pool #39 → Pool #40
The updated Toronto projections show a major redistribution of fantasy production. Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley have disappeared from the updated player pool, and several Raptors have received substantial increases.
This changes our late-swap priorities immediately.
Toronto injury-impact comparison
| Player | Previous FPTS | Updated FPTS | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scottie Barnes | 41.82 | Missing | — |
| Immanuel Quickley | 36.13 | Missing | — |
| RJ Barrett | 37.73 | 46.94 | +9.21 |
| Ja’Kobe Walter | 29.94 | 37.83 | +7.89 |
| Collin Murray-Boyles | 22.31 | 29.34 | +7.03 |
| Jamal Shead | 20.99 | 28.76 | +7.77 |
| Jakob Poeltl | 19.16 | 25.37 | +6.21 |
| Jamison Battle | 15.44 | 21.70 | +6.26 |
| Trayce Jackson-Davis | 4.57 | 19.93 | +15.36 |
The biggest relative opportunity is Trayce Jackson-Davis, whose projection has increased more than fourfold. RJ Barrett is the new premium Toronto ceiling target, while Walter and Shead offer salary-adjusted opportunities.
The disappearance of Barnes and Quickley is evident in the file, but official injury status and actual lineup availability still require confirmation.

Five Toronto plays to boost immediately
1. RJ Barrett — Premium ceiling anchor
$7,300 · 46.94 FPTS · 77.2 SACP · 23.3% RST
Barrett now carries the highest Toronto projection and a modeled P99 of 86.6. He’s the primary spend-up for accessing the redistributed usage.
Top ceiling
2. Ja’Kobe Walter — Best overall value
$5,000 · 37.83 FPTS · 57.8 SACP · 6.7% RST
Walter’s 7.57x projected value is exceptional. His combination of salary, right-tail access and modest ownership makes him my preferred tournament target.
3. Jamal Shead — Guard leverage
$4,500 · 28.76 FPTS · 42.3 SACP · 3.3% RST
Shead benefits from the projected backcourt redistribution. His low ownership makes him an attractive alternative to more popular salary-saving guards.
4. Collin Murray-Boyles — Midrange separator
$4,800 · 29.34 FPTS · 44.6 SACP · 3.6% RST
His projection has increased by 7.03 FPTS, providing another low-owned path into Toronto’s expanded opportunity.
5. Trayce Jackson-Davis — Deep tournament leverage
$3,100 · 19.93 FPTS · 33.3 SACP · 0.5% RST
The largest projection increase of any matched player. He’s a high-variance salary unlock rather than a safe core play, but the $3,100 price creates meaningful roster flexibility.

Another injury-driven opportunity: Cleveland
The updated file also removes Jarrett Allen, previously projected for 28.90 FPTS. Cleveland shows several increases, including Peyton Watson (+9.74), Thomas Bryant (+5.40), Mario Hezonja (+5.23), and Craig Porter (+5.00).
Those are secondary opportunities worth checking against confirmed rotations. They should not automatically displace Toronto’s strongest plays.
Final recommendation for Diamond Life readers
Toronto is the biggest late-news adjustment in this update. My preferred ceiling combination is Barrett and Walter, with Shead providing inexpensive guard leverage. Murray-Boyles offers an alternative midrange path, while Jackson-Davis is the speculative salary-saving tournament option.
For single-entry, prioritize Barrett or Walter based on available salary and roster construction. For MME, spread exposure across the five rather than stacking all five together.
The Monte Carlo outputs are model scenarios, not independently calibrated outcome probabilities. Crucially, the uploaded projections do not independently confirm injury designations, starting lineups or whether Toronto has locked. Confirm those before executing swaps, especially for Jackson-Davis, whose value depends heavily on receiving the projected playing time.
